Ek Villain (2014)
The movie title says " Ek Villain" , but the irony is that every one is Villain in the movie :P
The movie stars Siddharth Malhotra who plays a who is quiet, tough and ruthless boy who can kill any one without even blinking his eyes . He is true to his role. Most of the time he stays calm with revenge in his eyes . He also has a back story which features his childhood pain and the reason for becoming a 'Gunda'. His childhood dark past doesnt let Guru sleep at night until he meets a girl, Aisha (Shraddha Kapoor of course).
Mein tujhe marne nahi dunga, lekin mei tujhe roz marunga, ek baar nahi hazaar baar marunga
Shraddha Kapoor plays a role of a bubbly girl who is suffering from cancer who wants to complete a list of wishes before she dies ( wishes including dancing in a foam snow fall, watching peacock dancing , saving a life etc)
Jab tak hum kisi ke humdard nahi bante ... tab tak hum dard se aur dard humse juda nahi hota
And the main part of the movie doesnt work well enough. There is no suspence or thrilling part in the movie . All the suspence is revealed at the start. The screenplay is too slow. The cinematography is too good. One scene where Sid comes to his boss's adda and beats up everyone was captured awesomely . It felt like a single take. Surprise of the movie was Kamaal R Khan (Deshdrohi wala KRK). He played a role of Ritesh's friend Brijesh. He had some fun and quirky dialogues like "Hum middle class log hain, jo uppar class aur lower class k darmiyan sandwich ban jaty hain, duniya hamari maarti hai, system hamari marti hai, ghar ao to hamari bevi bhi" and his famous " He is 2rupees people" . Overall it was a watchable movie Rating - 3/5 |
