And a Salman khan movie releases.
It's like a festival for Salman khan fans on a eid release even if the movie is good or bad, they enjoy it!
Usually heard in first day first show is 'Bhai kya fight maara bhai' , bhai kya belt hilaya bhai ' (AIB rocks!)
So let's start with The review of movie KICK. As usual the movie tickets were high every where in multiplexes around the city. It's just a strategy that even if the production cost of the movie isn't much, the tickets are high so that the profit is maximized with manipulating the box office collections record. No wonder this movie will reach ₹100cr in few days or can even break chennai express and dhoom 3 's record .
I had high expectations from this movie. The trailer was good enough to impress everyone. But the movie fell below my expectations as it another logic less movie. (I guess it's wrong to expect anything from any Bollywood movie n that too salman's😀)
Salman is shown to be a gifted child, who wants a kick or thrill in everything he does. Only because of the kick, he urinates upside down , graduates in all fields, leaves 32 jobs and does a work of rickshaw wala ( a weird rickshaw he drives with Harley in the front and old bettle backside) .
The start of the movie is similar to Ready , where he helps his friend (Sumona from Comedy Nights) to get married by running away from her family.
He flirts with Jacqueline who plays a role of psychiatrist in the movie. Who eventually falls for Salman. She just break up with him only because he doesn't have any job.
After the breakup, he gets to know that a little girl has tumour and her parents have no money to operate her medically. Her parents die because of the stress and pressure of bringing up all the money.
Salman takes up the charge to collect funds for her operations during which Nawazuddin and his friends insult him by offering help and rest is the revenge story. ( remember Jai Ho?)
The screenplay is cut to cut same as the south Indian version of the original movie . I wonder what work Chetan Bhagat did for the movie.
Music is average, not as much as his other movies.
Nawazuddin was best for his part as the villain but not much role was offered to him .
Jacqueline only had introduction role in the movie. But she looked damn hot in the song Jhumme Ki Raat where she performed solo dance.
Randeep Hooda was the only one who acted in the movie as a actor while all others including Salman did overacting as usual!
Salman has lost his magic touch in acting. He is losing his acting skills movie by movie. He was at his best in Partner and Wanted.
Action scenes were totally dumb.
The stylish cycle-train could carry all the action scenes from the movie together.
Dialogues isn't that great as it was in Wanted.
Irony is that ,there was no Kick in this movie!

Recommended only for Salman Khan diehard fans.
