I always have been fascinated by concerts, college fests and people trying their level best to organize things and execute it on time. I'm currently in SIES college of arts, science and commerce studying bcom third year. I decided to take a inside look in one of Navi Mumbai's biggest fest "Siesons"
Last year I took part as a volunteer In securities, which was enjoyable as no work had to be done except checking ids and bags . We had all access in every event. I managed to grab to closer view of the celebrities who attended the fest .
As securities work was only on the event day, I couldn't get closer look in initial process of the festival.
So I decided to join in promotions & CC committee as a volunteer this time. The committee head were friendly enough,that helped everyone to do their work really well.
We were lacking behind for the sponsors for our fest. We called many companies and stores for sponsors. I managed to get 2-3 out of many successive attempts.
We brainstormed many ideas for promotional events. Few were approved, many were rejected due to complications.
I handled the twitter account through which I managed to get RTs and followers as I begin from a fresh account.
I also began designing work for posters and jpegs for online content.
Many people appreciated my work, few said kya karta hai yeh sab.. some even teased me. But that didn't discourage me, I went on my full potential and gained some confidence. My main objective to gain experience in managing the event, which I gained it.

I may had a smaller contribution to a bigger fest, but I'm sure that I made it countable.
The 2 day college fest smoothly all thanks to better planning and execution.
The Concert day was totally unmatchable. We had "Euphoria" band for our concert night.Everyone had known about this band in its earlier days and we were privileged enough to watch them live at our own college.I also met Palash Sen (perks of being a volunteers :P)
The fest ended with a lot of success and i enjoyed it to the core. It was a great experience in my life , i will keep them stored in my harddrive forever(read Brain :D)
