From my professional and personal experience, clickbait does not retain customers nor convert visitors into customers.
It’s a temporary clicked-on ‘high’ that gets only temporary results for all involved.
Clickbait is looked upon in much of the online industry as a scheme that tends to attract scams and exploitive traffic.
Using clickbait tactics could, therefore, devalue your website’s authority.
Just be sure, you don’t misguide people. You have to work on catchy titles, not on spammy tricks.
